LifeWatch stations versus industrial activity zones BPNS

LifeWatch has an extended observatory network with multiple stations spread over the Belgian Part of the North Sea. This observatory network includes a fish acoustic receiver network and several stations measuring environmental variables in the water column on a monthly and seasonal basis, among other things. All the collected data is made available through the LifeWatch data explorer portals. This page presents a number of maps that give an overview of the LifeWatch stations and their positioning with regards to industrial & commercial activities such as wind farms, shipping routes, aquaculture etc.
